PROGRAM DAY 01: ARRIVAL TO THE
CITY OF PUNO / CITY TOURS
Airport or in the terminal’s bus. Transfer to the city
of Puno, about 40 minutes if you arrive by plane and 5
minutes if the terminal. Accommodation at the hotel. In
the afternoon city tour, will visit our museum Dreyer,
where we can appreciate the gold found in the ruins of
Sillustani and a variety of antiques.
DAY 02: THE ISLAND OF UROS / TAQUILE ( OVERNIGHT)
The tour starts by visiting the floating islands of the
Uros, and after approx. 2 hours of travel arrived in
Taquile is located 35 km. the city of Puno, in the Lake
Titicaca. It features an island with many customs and
tradition, which preserves the old, it stays in the
homes of locals.
DAY 03: RETURN TO PUNO.
In the morning after taking a small breakfast with the
locals will visit the island more aware of their
customs, afternoon return to Puno.
DAY 04: SILLUSTANI ON
ROUTE & TRANSFER OUT
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport or terminal bus
(Airfare or Bus is not included ).
On The route visit at the Sillustani Chullpas
(pre-Colombian funeral towers). The scenery is desert
but impressive, in a beautiful setting on a peninsula on
Ayumara lake about 32 Km. from Puno. Most of the towers
date from the period of Inca occupation in the 15th
century; the engineering involved in their construction
is more complex than anything the Incas built. (B)
