DAY 01 : CUSCO – MANDOR - AGUAS CALIENTES
We’ll leave from Cusco early in the morning by Tourist
Train all the way to Aguas Calientes Town (4 hours
travel Aprox.), there we will get the Hotel first to
leave our stuff, then we will have the option to Enjoy a
nice walk to Mandor which is a nice area full of Birds
and Orchids, 2 km, away of the town and it takes 2 hours
guided tour round trip.
Mandor Pampa is just 2 km, following the truck of the
train going to the bank of the river a site behind
Huayna Picchu Mountain (the holy one, usually you see it
behind Machu Picchu at the classic Picture)
Afternoon from 5 p.m. a nice option to enjoy the great
Hot Springs at Aguas Calientes Town,
hot ones , good to recover yourself and have a good
break
DAY 02 .- AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO.
Early wake Up (by 05: 30 a.m.), Breakfast and after to
leave our Luggage at the
Hotel, we will take the early Tourist bus Up to
Machupicchu, of course with a guide English speaking,
Usually we use to get Machupicchu by 6: 50 a.m., so from
this time we will be able to visit Machupicchu of course
at this time Machupicchu is pretty empty and we will
have the best chance to enjoy the beauty and the magic
of Machupicchu, because at this time is quiet.
A guided tour of about 2: 30 hours, and then you will
have "happy hour time", to explore by yourself the whole
site for about 3 hours and there is time as well to
climb Huaynapicchu mountain and get the best view over
Machupicchu it takes 1: 40 minutes round trip time, or
option to go to the temple of the moon which is located
behind Huaynapicchu Mountain.
After you’ll return to Cusco by train.
