DESCRIPTION

This is one of easier tops more beautiful mountains in the Cordillera Blanca, because once its top can appreciate the wonderful glaciers like Huascarán, Huandoy, Artesonraju, we used the clime to this mountain for acclimatisation. Not is technical.

ASK FOR AVAILABILITY

DAY 1: LIMA – HUARAZ

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the bus station.

Output from Lima to Huaraz at 13:00. 8 hours approximately travelling. Transfer from bus station to the hotel.

DAY 2: ACLIMATIZATION – LAKE CHURUP

You take the Breakfast at 6:30 a.m.

Output at 7:30 a.m. from Huaraz

This day your have acclimatization up until 4500 meters over the sea at the Churup lake, beautiful lake inside the National Park Huascarán.

The hike takes 4 hours to go up to the lake and 3 hours to return. Approximately

Difficulty: medium (600m ascent but not steep at any point)

CHURUP LAKE:

The lake Churup a beautiful lake inside the national park Huascarán, its characteristic is its depth and clarity allow see the fund. You will can appreciate from here the Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra and a panoramic view of the city Huaraz.

DAY 3: LAKE 69:

Breakfast at 5:30

Gather from the Hotel 6:30 a.m.

By car you travel approximately 4 hours we will pass for the beautiful lagoons Llanganuco. Also with the car is possible appraised the impressive views of the valley of Huaylas. You will arrive to Cebollapampa from here you will begin to walk approximately 3 hours of ascent until the lagoon 69. Rest. then you will descend in approximately 2 hours. Return to Huaraz by car.

LAGUNA 69: One of the most beautiful lakes of the National Park Huascarán, because have a intensive blue color and from here is possible have a spectacular view of the most important glacier of Cordillera Blanca, like Huascarán, Huandoy, Chopicalqui.

DAY 4: HUARAZ – CEBOLLAPAMPA – MOURAINE CAMP

After of the breakfast you will travel from Huaraz to Cebollapampa. We will begin the ascension to the moraine camp,  maximum approach for attack the glacier tomorrow.

DAY 5: MOURAINE CAMP – SUMMIT – BASE CAMP

This day we will wake up very early, at 2:00 a.m. We begin the ascension before of sunrise, walking for the entire moraine until the glacier. Here we are going to put all mountain equipment for begin to climb on the snow we are going to walk with rope. The view from here is beautiful, because is possible have very close the others mountains in contrast with blue sky and with the white of snow. The trek on the snow is about 7 hours. We will remain in the summit just some minutes for begin the return to the moraine and take out the camp until the base where we going to rest.

DAY 6: BASE CAMP- HUARAZ

After a breakfast repairer we are going to take our thing and we will start to return until Huaraz. Overnight.

DAY 7:  HUARAZ – LIMA

Transport from the hotel to bus station and return to Lima.
