DAY 01: ARRIVAL TO CUSCO / CITY TOUR
AND RUINS
Reception and transfer to the
Hotel, where you will receive general information
about the
City,
the tours and drink the delicious “Mate de Coca”.
Approximately at
2:00pm, you will start the guided sightseeing
tour in Cusco visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral
and the Temple of the Sun or
Qoricancha. Then, out of the City you will visit
the Inca sites of
Q’enqo, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the
impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built
on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its enormous
carved stones, some of them standing over 9 m /30 ft
high and weighing over 350 tons. Return to your
Hotel. (No meals).

DAY 02: CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY /
CUSCO
After breakfast, we will take the
Full-day excursion to the "Sacred Valley of the Incas",
along the Vilcanota River. We will have the opportunity
to share closely the peasants' customs and bargain with
vendors at the typical Indian market of Pisaq. The lunch
time will be in a local countryside restaurant. In the
afternoon, passing through the Towns of Calca and
Urubamba, we will visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of
Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part
of the Valley and protect it from possible invasion from
the tribes in the Lower jungle. You will be able to walk
through the quaint streets of the nearby Town, and get a
good idea of what this strategic military, religious,
and agricultural centre was like during the era of the
Inca Empire. After that we'll visit the archaeological
place of Chinchero. Ending the tour we will be Back to
Cusco and the
Hotel. (B, L).
DAY 03: EXCURSION MARAS / MORAY (PVT)
After breakfast you will be picked up
from your
Hotel to visit first Moray which main attraction
is the Inca circular amphitheater built in different
ecological zones representing different climates
suitable for studies of the benefits of different plants
to get walking Salt, ancient salt mines that are
currently operating in a natural system (wells). .
Continuing along horseshoe indigenous, we will arrive to
Pichingoto, indigenous Community with own facial
features and unique housing system (Cave built close to
the foot of the hill). Optional box lunch or lunch (not
included in the program). At the end of the tour, return
to
Cusco via Urubamba. (B)

DAY 04: CUSCO
/ MACHU PICCHU
After breakfast
approximately at 05:50 hrs, you will be transferred from
your
Hotel to the Train Station for a 3 ½ hour train
journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also
known as "The Lost City of the Incas", discovered for
the science in 1911 by the American explorer Hiram
Bingham. We will visit the ruins for around 3 hours,
during which time our guide is going to show you the
Intihuatana, (or "Hitching Post of the Sun), the Temple
of the Sun, the Royal Tomb, the Priests' House, the Inca
Baths and the Temple of the Three Windows, which allow
us to glimpse back into the past. Time for lunch (Optional).
This day you will spend the night in Aguas Calientes
town. (B).
DAY 05: MACHUPICCHU / CUSCO
Morning at
leisure to explore by your own (entrance fee and
transportation not included). In the afternoon you will
take the train to Cusco. Upon arrival in
Cusco, transfer to the
Hotel and overnight (B)
DAY 06: TRANSFER OUT
Breakfast. On a
coordinated hour you will be transfered
to the
Airport or
Terminal. Checking passengers. (B)
