DAY 01: ARRIVAL TO CUSCO / CITY TOUR AND RUINS
Reception and transfer to the hotel , where you will
receive a general information about the city and the
tours and drink the delicious “Mate de Coca”.
Approximately at 2pm, you will start the guided
sightseeing tour in Cusco visiting the Main Square, the
Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. Then,
out of the City you will visit the Inca sites of Kenko,
Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of
Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking
Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones, some of
them standing over 9 m /30 ft high and weighing over 350
tons. Return to your hotel.(no meals).
DAY 02: CUSCO / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
After breakfast approximately at O5:50 hrs., you will be
transferred from your hotel to the Train Station for a 3
˝ hour train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu
Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas",
discovered for the science in 1911 by the American
explorer Hiram Bingham. We will visit the ruins for
around 3 hours, during which time our guide is going to
show you the Intihuatana, (or "Hitching Post of the
Sun), the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Tomb, the
Priests' House, the Inca Baths and the Temple of the
Three Windows, which allow us to glimpse back into the
past. Time for lunch . (optional) The mid-afternoon
train will take you back to Cusco and then you will be
transferred to your hotel.(B)
DAY 03: CUSCO / OUT
Breakfast . On a coordinated hour you will be
transferred to the airport or terminal. Checking
passengers.(B)
