DAY 01: ARRIVAL TO CUSCO / CITY TOUR AND RUINS
Reception and transfer to the hotel, where you will
receive general information about the city and the tours
and drink the delicious “Mate de Coca”.
Approximately at 2pm, you will start the guided
sightseeing tour in Cusco visiting the Main Square, the
Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. Then,
out of the City you will visit the Inca sites of Kenko,
Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of
Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking
Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones, some of
them standing over 9 m /30 ft high and weighing over 350
tons. Return to your hotel. (No meals)
DAY 02: CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY / CUSCO
After breakfast, we will take the Full-day excursion to
the "Sacred Valley of the Incas", along the Vilcanota
River. We will have the opportunity to share closely the
peasants' customs and bargain with vendors at the
typical indian market of Pisac. The lunch time will be
in a local countryside restaurant. In the afternoon,
passing through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba, we will
visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo,
built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley
and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes in
the Lower jungle. You will be able to walk through the
quaint streets of the nearby Town, and get a good idea
of what this strategic military, religious, and
agricultural centre was like during the era of the Inca
Empire. After that we'll visit the archaeological place
of Chinchero. Ending the tour we will be Back to Cusco
and the Hotel. (B, L)

DAY 03: CUSCO / MACHU PICCHU
After breakfast approximately at O5:50 hrs., you will be
transferred from your hotel to the Train Station for a 3
˝ hour train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu
Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas",
discovered for the science in 1911 by the American
explorer Hiram Bingham. We will visit the ruins for
around 3 hours, during which time our guide is going to
show you the Intihuatana, (or "Hitching Post of the
Sun), the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Tomb, the
Priests' House, the Inca Baths and the Temple of the
Three Windows, which allow us to glimpse back into the
past. Time for lunch (optional). This day you will spend
the night in Aguas Calientes town. (B)

DAY 04: MACHUPICCHU / CUSCO
Morning at leisure to explore by your own (entrance
fee and transportation not included). In the afternoon
you will take the train to Cuzco. Upon arrival in Cuzco,
transfer to the hotel and overnight. (B)
DAY 05: PIQUILLAQTA / ANDAHUAYLILLAS (PRIVATE)
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel to
begin our journey with the remains of Pikillacta 30 km
south of Cuzco, considered as a group of pre
Arqueological Inca place where there are still narrow
streets of an ancient city . In the way to
Andahuaylillas we will observe the Highlands and the
imposing Rumicolca cover, which was the main entrance to
the valley and binding of Cusco.
In Andahuaylillas we will see the famous Church of
Andahuaylillas considered the Sistine Chapel of America.
Inside it shows one of the most beautiful colonial arts
with its golden altars and wall paintings and polychrome
ceilings.
During the trip we will see the people of San Sebastian,
San Jerónimo, Saylla and Oropesa; the last one a
traditional village famous for its bread and Saylla for
its delicious pork chicharrones. At the return we will
be able to enjoy a typical delicious dish of
chicharrones at Saylla (Optional). (B)

DAY 06: TRANSFER OUT
Breakfast . On a coordinated hour you will be
transferred to the airport or terminal. Checking
passengers. (B)
