Daily departures from Arequipa, Peru - Available from April to November

Day 1 : AREQUIPA - BASE CAMP
At 07:00 we will leave in private car 4x4, taking the route that allows us to see Cabrerias and the National Reserve of Aguada Blanca. If possible we will see the wild vicuñas, between El Misti and Chachani mountains.
At 08:30 we will arrive at the north base of El Misti at 3,800 meters (car base) and approximately at 09:00 we are going to begin the trekking up to the 4,800 meters.
We will stop for lunch at 13:00 to restart the trek at 14:00 in east direction, which is an accentuated land in volcanic ash.
At 16:00 will be our arrival to the camp base called "Mont Blanc". We will have dinner and Camp at 4800 meters. (L, D)

Day 2 : SUMMIT AND RETURN TO AREQUIPA
Very early in the morning at At04:00 we will have breakfast and at 05:00 we will be beginning the climbing with light equipment, making a trekking of 3 hours with a brief rest at 5,600 meters and then attacking the summit.
Finally at 11:00 we will get the summit, having a beautiful view of one enormous crater and a second one smaller than the first one, characterized for emanation of some gases in the bottom, and a land with coloration of sulfurates,. We will walk until the point called the cross of the Misti at 5,825 meters. From there we will have an impressive view of the city of Arequipa, and the snowy Chachani, Pichu-pichu, Coropuna and Ampato mountains.
At 13:00 we will be beginning the descent until camp base, having then some rest, walking down to the car base and returning to Arequipa. Transfer to your hotel . (B,L)
